UTAC and CNRV services check the conformity of the trailers against the European directives and European or UN regulations, in particular:
■ R55 or 94/20 CE concerning the trailer tongues
■ R48 concerning the lighting
■ R13 concerning the brakes
■ 458/2011 concerning the tyre fit …
Similarly, DREAL, UTAC and CNRV check the conformity of the product with the Highway Code. Trailers having a GTWR* ≤ 500 Kg must also comply with the provisions of these regulations.
